Kids love dancing at Move With Grace Dance Studio and now even more children will have the opportunity to pursue their passion through Move With Grace’s partnership with the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington.
The Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington strives to help as many children as possible access recreational activities through its grants program. “By partnering with organizations like Move With Grace Dance Studio, we are able to stretch our resources to meet the growing demand,” says Karyn Kirkwood, program coordinator. “Last year, we were able to help over 1,000 children in Guelph and Wellington participate in 1,454 activities and yet we recognize that there is still work to do to ensure more children will have the opportunity to experience playing a sport, going to camp or participating in the arts.”
In addition to this ongoing partnership, Move With Grace Dance Studio is also running P.D. Day fundraisers. Their first P.D. Day of fun had 22 kids in attendance. Move with Grace was able to donate $220 to the Children’s Foundation. They hope to continue this success on their next P.D. day being held April 24.
“I’m very happy to partner with an organization like the Children’s Foundation,” says Move With Grace Dance Studio owner, Robyn Tedesco. “I’m especially thrilled to be the first dance studio to forge a partnership and to support the Children’s Foundation mission to build brighter futures for children by making sure kids have access to our dance and camp programs.”
