ERIN – A new six-week program to help manage the symptoms of anxiety and depression is being offered by the East Wellington Family Health Team (EWFHT).
The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) group will teach participants how to identify, question and change thoughts and attitudes that lead to difficult behaviours, focusing on steps to feel happier.
The sessions, facilitated by mental health therapists at the EWFHT clinic, 6 Thompson Cres., are free of charge. They start Feb. 19, 1 to 3pm and Feb. 20, 4:30 to 6:30pm.
