The Legion here will be staging a Neil Diamond tribute show on April 12.

He has always had the knack for impersonations but he struck gold – or diamond, in this case – when he hit upon singer and songwriter Neil Diamond.
“I had no idea how beloved Neil Diamond is," he said. "And I had no idea how powerful his music was – and still is – to people.”
He added that at every show there is at least one patron that will ask if he is lip-synching.
“I am thrilled to hear that, because it is the ultimate compliment, and all the hours of perfecting the impersonation have been worth the effort.”
The show starts at 8pm and doors open at 7pm. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door, and can be purchased at the Legion club room, or by phoning 519-846-9611.
