PALMERSTON – The Norwell District Secondary School girls soccer team travelled to Brantford on May 27 after a strong regular season led it to qualify for the CWOSSA tournament.
The girls battled hard in the rainy weather against St. Davids, Sacred Heart and North Park, finishing with a 1-2 record, just missing out on a semi-final appearance.
“The team represented Norwell extremely well, never giving up no matter the opponent or playing conditions,” school officials stated, offering a special thank you to the seniors who led the way this season: Marisa H., Kathryn G., Sarah Z. and Kennedy G.
