Nativity display in Conn – The annual nativity display at Knox Presbyterian Church in Conn drew a steady stream of visitors from Dec. 10 to 12. On display at the church were 322 nativities, 183 angels, 150 Christmas cards with nativity scenes and the history of Christmas celebrations in countries around the world.
“We hope that they enabled people to get into the true spirit of Christmas,” said church clerk Penny Renken. “Those that attended, seemed to enjoy taking the time to view them and we enjoyed speaking with them.”
The event has grown from a 100-nativity display for church members in 2015 to a public showcase in 2021. The event was not held in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
