Museum’s antique and classic car show coming up

ABOYNE – Rev your engines! The 47th Antique and Classic Car Show is returning to the Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA) on Aug. 27.

This is the WCMA’s longest running annual event and is open to the public from 1 to  4pm on the front lawn.

For those wishing to participate, registration opens at 11am. 

There are no year or make restrictions, nor does it have to be a car. Trucks, vans and even motorbikes are welcomed. There is no cost to park or register – admission is by donation.

Awards

At 3:30pm awards will be presented for the following categories:

– Best in Show;

– Best Finish; and

– Best Interior.

Schmecken BBQ and Laza Food and Beverage will be on site serving up food and drinks for purchase.   Attendees are also welcome to bring their own food and enjoy a picnic on the lawn.  

The Doug Clayfield Trio will entertain the crowd, playing classic rock, country and blues hits.
