The Wellington County Museum and Archives is celebrating Canadian winter.
Officials invite everyone to join them for crafts, activities, snowshoeing, snow golf, tobogganing and snow angels.
The events include:
– Jan. 21, Learn about sled dogs. Presentations on huskies and sledding demonstrations will be provided by Irvinevalley Kennels at 1:30 and 3pm. Sled rides are available;
– Jan. 22, starts with horse drawn sleigh or carriage rides around the museum grounds, weather permitting.
– Jan. 23, gather at the front doors at 2pm for an Animal Tracks interactive hike led by staff at the Grand River Conservation Authority.
Those who prefer to be indoors can check the winter indoor games and pastimes that are available..
Admission is $2. The Wellington County Museum and Archives is located on Wellington Road 18, between Fergus and Elora.
