Every Thursday afternoon in July and August the Wellington County Museum is holding themed events from 1 to 3pm.
Start the afternoon with a picnic on the lawn or in the garden and then take part in the drop-in activities, meet guests or just have some fun.
Each week will have a different focus, with a variety of activities and crafts available. The events started July 3 with How’s it Growing?, an afternoon of gardening activities, advice and crafts.
July 10 is Fun and Games; learn some new games to share at the cottage this summer.
July 24 organizers will be making paper.
July 31 offers a proper old fashioned tea party; come for the afternoon and learn how to do it right.
Regular admission rates will apply and some events have limited participation and require registration in advance.
To register for the papermaking or the tea party, call 519-846-0916, extension 221.
