There could be some good News for Arthur village in the new year.
On?Dec. 14, Wellington North councillors approved a bylaw authorizing the execution of a site plan allowing yet another expansion of Musashi Auto Parts Canada, located at the northern edge of the community.
The lands owned by Musashi currently contain three completed phases of the auto parts manufacturing facility, which are subject to site plans dating back to 1997 and 2000.
Now the company has applied for a stage four expansion to one of its existing buildings.
Mayor Mike Broomhead later commented on the positive nature of the proposed expansion.
Broomhead stated that to his knowledge, all the permanent staff were rehired, but he wasn’t certain if all the temporary staff were hired back yet.
