When Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Nile runs this weekend, proceeds will benefit the Centre Wellington food bank.
The Queen of Crime’s play, from her novel of the same name, runs March 26, 27, 28 at the Fergus Grand Theatre, with proceeds to the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
This is the fourth year Vision Theatre Productions has done an Agatha Christie play and the second year a show has been done in aid of the food bank. Last year, the production raised more than $3,000 in cash donations and two large barrels of food.
The March 26 gala reception and opening night performance will feature music, food from local chefs, and special door prizes. It starts around 6:30pm with a cheque presentation at 7:45pm on stage.
Mayor Joanne Ross-Zuj will be on hand to help present the cheque to the food bank.
