Two homes were destroyed and others damaged by an early morning fire here on July 7.
The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office were called in to investigate the cause.
On July 7 at about 3:30am Puslinch and Rockwood firefighters responded to the call at the Mini Lakes community on Wellington Road 34 near Aberfoyle.
“A total of four mobile homes are involved with the families being displaced from them,” stated a Wellington County OPP press release.
“Wellington County Victim Services are assisting the residents.”
Puslinch deputy fire chief Luis Gomes reported that 45 fire fighters from three departments continued to engage in fire suppression and were on scene until 9:30pm.
Police say one person was transported to local hospital with minor injuries.
Gomes later stated five modular homes were affected as well as three sheds.
Damage is estimated at over one million dollars. Gomes stated the fire is not considered suspicious.
