Mudmoiselle fights dirty against cancer

The Canadian Cancer Society is asking women to go an extra muddy mile and drag cancer through the mud at Guelph’s Mudmoiselle event on Sept. 15.

The 5K obstacle course at Cox Creek Cellars is back.

“The money raised helps to fund Canada’s most promising cancer research and vital support services, which help local patients and their families during a difficult time,” said Kaitlynn Barrett, community fundraising specialist.

Last year, more than $115,000 was raised with over 500 participants.

New this year is the Mini Mudster event. Kids 4 to 12 can experience Mudmoiselle with a 1K fun mud run, with downsized versions of the adult obstacles. For information visit mudmoiselle.ca.
