Mudmen at Fergus Grand Theatre in December

FERGUS – Canada’s Celtic Rock warriors Mudmen return to the Fergus Grand Theatre on Dec. 3 as part of their Farmer’s Tan tour.

Mudmen are no strangers to the Fergus area, playing the Scottish Festival numerous times, the Grand Theatre, guesting and opening for Johnny Reid, The Irish Rovers ,The Chieftains, John McDermott, and The Tea Party to name a few.

“Fergus has been very good to us and we’re hoping to make this an annual stop every year. We have played over 3,000 shows to date in eight countries,” says band member Robby Campbell, adding that Fergus is a favourite stop for the band.

With the release of their 11th studio CD Farmer’s Tan, the Mudmen are showing no signs of slowing down.

The band has teamed up with The Goofie Newfie for the Fergus concert, which  will be running the bar at the theatre and will be hosting the after party.

Tickets, available at the Fergus Grand Theatre box office, are $28 for adults and $25 for youth and seniors. Doors open at 7pm; show starts at 8pm.

The brothers are currently working on a memoir book and DVD, 20 Plus Years in the Mud with a foreword by Ron MacLean and numerous celebrity content stories, quotes and videos.
