Guelph-Eramosa councillor Reta Moyer is saying the township’s economic development advisory committee is in shambles.
“People are stampeding out of the committee,” Moyer said of the group’s dwindling membership, which resulted in the cancellation of a meeting last month.
She told council she would like to step down as chairman of the committee in an attempt to perhaps “breathe some new life into the committee.”
Moyer also suggested the economic development advisory committee should meet every second month because there is not enough work to keep committee members busy with monthly meetings.
Council has not taken any action with the committee.
