MOUNT FOREST – Tim Hortons Mount Forest spread kindness this holiday season with the launch of its Holiday Smile Cookie campaign and a $2,940 donation for the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation.
Smile Cookie campaign
“Already well-known for their classic Smile Cookie campaign, Tim Hortons launched their first-ever national Holiday Smile Cookie campaign this November to celebrate the heartwarming impact of kindness during the holiday season,” states a press release from the foundation.
Featuring a white chocolate sugar cookie with red and green sprinkles and a hand-decorated smile, each Holiday Smile Cookie sold raised funds for both the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps and a local charity. Tim Hortons Mount Forest selected the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation as its charity partner.
$9.8 million raised
The Holiday Smile Cookie campaign ran nationally from Nov. 13 to 19 and raised $9.8 million for more than 600 charities across Canada.
Deb Hewson, vice-president of the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation, was on-hand at the Mount Forest Tim Hortons restaurant recently to accept its donation of $2,940, proceeds from this year’s campaign.
