Volunteer appreciation – The Mount Forest Thrift Shop showed appreciation to its volunteers with a roast beef dinner on Oct. 3, followed by fun and fellowship. All proceeds from the Thrift Shop support Cancer Patient Services Corp. and the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation. Since opening in 2009, the Mount Forest Thrift Shop has donated $1.7 million dollars to these organizations.
