A million bucks – An appreciation dinner was held on Oct. 17 for volunteers at the Mount Forest Thrift Shop. The 63 (of 75) volunteers in attendance enjoyed a roast beef dinner. They were also celebrating, as it was announced the store has reached $1 million in gross sales since opening seven years ago. The thrift shop supports the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation and Cancer Patient Services.
