Local residents can now access both health card and driver vehicle services under one roof at the newly integrated ServiceOntario centre, John Wilkinson, MPP, Perth-Wellington announced today.
As of Dec. 13, health card and driver and vehicle licensing services are available at the new ServiceOntario centre located at 165 Main Street South in Mount Forest.
“The residents of Wellington North expect government to spend their tax dollars both wisely and to provide excellent customer service,” stated Wilkinson.
“ServiceOntario is integrating services to make things faster and easier for people in rural Ontario to receive the government services they need, closer to home. Easier access to healthcard renewals and driver and vehicle licence services is welcome News for my constituents.”
These changes will give rural Ontarians access to more routine government services and better meet customer needs.
“On behalf of council and residents of Wellington North I would like to thank the province of Ontario for providing local residents the opportunity to access their health cards as well as their driver and vehicle licences in Mount Forest,” stated Mayor Ray Tout. “Having access to these services in our municipality helps our community to grow and prosper.”
ServiceOntario is making changes so that more Ontarians will be able to make one trip for their health card and most driver’s licence and vehicle registration services. This will help local residents save time, effort and money.
Services are expanding at nearly 300 ServiceOntario centres across the province. Centres will offer integrated health card and driver and vehicle renewal services under one roof.
Other local integrated services are also available in: Arthur, Harriston and Fergus.
