Trivia winners – The Mount Forest Curling Club held its first fundraiser, a trivia night at the Curling Club, on April 29, with proceeds going to the club’s capital project campaign. Organizers stated the event was “a huge success with fun had by all.” There were 20 teams of two to six in attendance. Chris Holden from 88.7 The River was the announcer and delivered the questions. Winning first place was “The Mad Hatted Maniacs of MoFo,” aka Brian, left, and Sherry Campbell. Second place went to “All in the Family” and in third place was “We are Smarticus.” The next trivia night will be on Oct. 7. Organizers thanked everyone who helped with the event and those who came out to enjoy the night to support the curling club. Future fundraisers include a garage sale, paint night and a Crude Earl reunion concert.
