Other adventures include stories in the park on Aug. 13, a trip to the Belfountain Conservation Area on Aug. 14 and a trip to the Rockwood Fire Hall on Aug. 28.

On Aug. 21 there is a feature puppet presentation of Puppets and Songs at the Rockwood library starting at 10:30am. Puppets and Songs is a variety show for children featuring original songs and puppet antics  with all original songs created by Pandora’s Sox, written especially for children. Songs include The Dino Boogie, A Hole In My Bucket, The Puppet Song and others as well as puppets Prometheus and Pandora doing what they do best – entertaining and making kids laugh.

The puppets are larger than life and there’s lots of opportunity for audience participation. The cost to attend this immaginative, creative and memorable show is $2 per person (those under one year of age will be admitted free) and tickets can be purchased at the East Wellington Community Services office at 45 Main Street in Erin or 106 Church Street in Rockwood.
