MINTO – The Minto Farmers Market committee raised nearly $1,000 for local foodbanks through an online trivia night on March 27.
Organizers took their regular trivia night fundraisers, normally held at the Palmerston Legion, online due to COVID-19-related restrictions on large in-person gatherings.
Although there was no cost to play, participants who were able were encouraged to e-transfer donations to mintofarmersmarket@gmail.com to be forwarded to the Town of Minto’s three food banks.
