Clifford’s historical society looked into old records and discovered the original Brown Pioneer Cemetery, in use from 1855 to 1876, was located on Brown Street South behind the library. The research began at the request of Diane Strangway McLellan, third from left, who wanted to know where her great-grandmother was buried. Minto’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee and Minto Pride joined together and opened the Community Food Share Pantry at the Clifford Carnival Celebration on July 13. The pantry is located in Rotary Celebration Square and everyone is welcome to take food if they need it, and leave food if they can. Vendors market - The Clifford Community Celebration on July 13 featured vendors of many hand-crafted items as well as a community garage sale.

CLIFFORD – Clifford pulled out all the stops on July 13 for the Clifford Carnival Celebration, which recognized 25 years of amalgamation. Clifford, Harriston, Palmerston and Minto Township became the Town of Minto in 1999.
