MIMOSA – Mimosa United Church (5980 Wellington Road 26) is offering “Food For Thought,” a dinner night with lectures on Wales and the British Isles.
The cost of dinner is an offering to the church (pay what you can) and the lecture is free.
Space for dinner is limited to 50 people, and church requests those who are attending to book ahead with June Switzer by calling 519-855-4201 or by emailing jswitzer@sentex.net.
If you’re only planning on catching the lecture, registration isn’t necessary – just show up.
The dates are April 19 for a lecture on Wales, and May 3 for a lecture on the British Isles.
Those attending dinner must contact Switzer by April 15 for the Wales lecture, or by April 29 for the Isles lecture.
On both dates, dinner will be served at 6:30pm, with lectures to follow from 7:30pm to 8:45pm.
