As Canada celebrates its 150th birthday, Metro Ontario is combining the tastes and sounds of local communities to celebrate those cities that have transformed this country via its Homegrown Tour. The tour, which is stopping in seven cities across Ontario throughout the summer, will include a food and music experience in Guelph on July 27.
The concert will take place at 7:45pm at the Eramosa River Park, close to the Lawn Bowling Club an the Boathouse.
Designed to celebrate the bridging of many cultures – one of the defining qualities of Canada – this unique experience will include bite-sized snacks and a concert by local bands, with a surprise guest appearance by a JUNO Award-nominated artist, which will be open to the public on a first come first serve basis.
Area residents can sign up to attend the concert at www.metro.ca/homegrown.
