Shoes at Melville – On the June 5-6 weekend Melville United Church members in Fergus lined shoes on the church steps, and tied 215 orange ribbons to trees. The ribbons will be up for 215 days to honour the 215 children whose remains were found at a former Kamloops residential school. The shoe display is now being disassembled, and charities or those in need interested in receiving these shoes can contact: futurusb@gmail.com or 519-787-0570.
