Puslinch councillor Don McKay says he is happy to see companies are interested in the township’s proposed strategic plan.
McKay told council last week several Advertiser articles on the issue led to some phone calls from companies wanting to work with the township to develop the plan.
He explained he did have a number of referrals to begin with, but considering the new interest and in order to be fair and open, he thinks it would be best to develop a tender for the job. So developing the plan may take longer than first anticipated, he said, but it is encouraging to see the interest.
