In celebration of Heritage Month, regular admission to McCrae House is free in February.
People can visit the birthplace of WWI soldier, doctor, poet, and author of In Flanders Fields at no cost. McCrae House is a National Historic Site and is recognized as a place of national significance and for John McCrae being a person of national significance.
Heritage Month is the perfect time to get out and visit your local heritage sites, especially for those who have never visited.
The offer is for regular admission only – any programs or booked groups are subject to the regular charges.
McCrae House is located at 108 Water Street in Guelph and is open to the public Sunday – Friday from 1 to 5pm, and closed on Saturdays and holiday Mondays.
