Mayor John Green has been re-elected to the board of directors for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO).
“I am pleased to have John on the 2010-12 board team,” said AMO president Norman Sandberg. “The board will continue its efforts to see properly funded municipal governments.” Sandberg explained that as a member of the board and the County Caucus, Green will help set policy for AMO and “serve as a key municipal leader in the province.”
AMO is a non-profit organization that represents almost all of the 445 municipal governments in the province.
