A man was transported to Hamilton hospital with serious injuries after he fell from scaffolding.
On May 11 at about 10:22am, Wellington County OPP officers were called to a residence on Orangeville Road in Fergus due to an injury sustained after a fall. Police say a local contractor was hired to complete exterior renovations on a house under construction.
“The male was on scaffolding, working on a second floor window when the scaffolding collapsed,” police said in a press release. Local firefighters also responded to the scene for a “possible VSA (vital signs absent)” medical call, as did ambulance and paramedics.
A 55-year-old male victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital with serious injuries and then transported to a Hamilton hospital.
