GUELPH – Police here are investigating after a man in a vehicle approached a young girl last week.
Just after 7:30pm on June 26, police were called to an address near Simmonds Drive and Inverness Drive.
“Investigation revealed a seven-year-old girl was playing at Wilson Farm Park when she decided to walk the short distance to her home,” police stated in a press release. “As she walked, a male drove beside her and the driver leaned over to open the passenger door. The girl became scared and ran home.”
The man was described as white, 50 to 60 years of age, bald, clean shaven and driving a black mid-sized car.
