CENTRE WELLINGTON – One person is dead following a three-vehicle collision here today.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at Wellington Road 19 at the 6th Line of Centre Wellington on May 1 at about 4:15pm.
Police say two motorcycles were travelling east when they collided with a pickup truck also travelling east.
“A male motorcycle operator was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and has since succumbed to his injuries,” police stated in a press release.
Police later identified the man as John Bott, 65, of Nichol Township.
A female motorcycle operator and the driver of the pickup truck were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police continue to investigate the crash.
