ERIN – On March 4 at about 6:30am, Wellington County OPP responded to a two-vehicle vehicle collision on Thompson Crescent.
“It was reported that a white mini-van and a black pickup truck had collided,” police stated in an April 30 press release.
A 24-year-old driver from Erin was charged with failing to report an accident, driving without insurance and two counts of driving while suspended.
The defendant is to appear in Guelph court on June 19.
It’s not clear why it took police nearly two months to report the incident to the media.
