On March 13 at about 1:30am, Wellington County OPP received a call regarding a serious single-vehicle collision on Wellington Road 12 just west of Wellington Road 7 near Parker.
Police say passing motorists located a 2015 pick-up truck that left the road and rolled into the ditch.
The male driver, a 30-year-old Mapleton resident, suffered serious injuries and needed to be extricated from the vehicle by Mapleton Fire Rescue. He was transported to a local hospital by ambulance and then transported by air ambulance to a London-area hospital.
The cause of the collision was being investigated by investigators from Wellington County OPP.
Police say the citizens at the scene did not witness the collision. Wellington County OPP is asking anyone who witnessed this crash to call 1-888-310-1122.
