Join Guelph Mayor Cam Guthrie, Rotary President Paul Taylor and Kevin Kelly of CJOY/Magic FM at 7:30 pm to kick-off the New Years Eve Celebration and countdown to the fantastic fireworks display at Riverside Park starting at 8pm.
The event on Dec. 31 is this year's grand finale for Sparkles in the Park from 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm
Throughout the evening participants can ride the carousel for free (compliments of the Rotary Club of Guelph) and experience the beauty as Riverside Park transforms into a magical winter wonderland.
There are over 30,000 lights all carefully strung by Rotary volunteers.
At around 7pm vehicle access to the park will be closed but free (compliments of the Rotary Club of Guelph) shuttle buses are available from the Walmart parking lot to the park and back throughout the evening.
Donations are greatly appreciated with 100% of the proceeds benefiting local and international Rotary Projects.
The Rotary Club of Guelph in partnership with Magic 106.1 FM, CJOY 1460 AM, Rogers TV, Skyjack and many other generous supporters are thrilled to present this annual New Years Eve celebration and fireworks display to the Guelph community.
