MOOREFIELD – the Moorefield Athletic Association (MAA) will be celebrating all the volunteers who have made local ball what it is today on June 10.
There will be a celebration for the 100-year anniversary of the organization at the Maryborough Community Centre in Moorefield.
The celebration will including multiple activities, such as giant foosball.
“So bring the family out! There will be memorabilia in the Moorefield community centre, as well as, minor ball games,” organizers state.
In addition to minor ball, a ladies league game and a home run derby for the local men’s league are on the schedule.
The celebration runs from 8am to 7pm.
An official anniversary ceremony will be held at 11am on the ‘A’ Diamond.
Adult beverages, as well as a variety of food and drink will be available.
“This event is free. So come out and enjoy a fun filled day with the family,” organizers urge.
