WELLINGTON NORTH – About 200 cattle died in a barn fire south of Conn on Saturday afternoon and damages are estimated in the millions of dollars.

KENILWORTH – The Mount Forest Lions Club is eyeing potential improvement projects around the community. Past club president George Laurencic pitched several early-stage ideas for council to ponder on Aug. 14.

GUELPH – Two Wellington North residents charged last year in connection with the 2008 hit-and-run death of Lucas Shortreed are expected to appear in person before Guelph court in September.
