WELLINGTON NORTH – Township council has denied a request from a property owner in Arthur who wanted water and sewer fees waived due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At its Aug. 24 meeting, council approved the use of municipal parking lots in Arthur and Mount Forest as drop-off and pick-up points for the Owen Sound to Guelph service.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Using local donations and federal funding, the Centre Wellington Community Foundation (CWCF) has provided over $120,000 in grants to 30 charitable projects in Wellington County as part of its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
