KENILWORTH – A Wellington North councillor has expressed concern about the lack of parkland in a proposed subdivision in Mount Forest.

MOUNT FOREST – Increased traffic congestion along Mount Forest Drive has compelled Wellington North council to step in and restrict parking along the road.

ARTHUR – The OptiMrs playground in Arthur will  be getting a face lift after Wellington North council approved a new budget for the project.

WELLINGTON COUNTY  – Local municipalities will receive almost $5.9 million from the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund in 2021. The $200-million fund helps small, rural and northern communities build and repair roads, bridges, water and wastewater infrastructure.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The province is providing $424,000 in funding to help long-term care homes in northern Wellington cope with the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
