MINTO – Officials here will approach other north Wellington municipalities about the possibility of working collectively to update their cultural plans.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – An 89-year-old man from Centre Wellington, a long-term care resident at Caressant Care Arthur since 2019, got sick on Dec. 26 and passed away on Jan. 5 from the virus.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Wellington Health Care Alliance officials announced on Jan. 6 the centre, located at the former Groves hospital on Union Street, will be open every day from 10am to 6pm except for statutory holidays.

WELLINGTON NORTH – This township will seek funding for local infrastructure projects ranging from a backup generator to traffic calming measures, through a federal/provincial program that supports health and safety related projects.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Council here has approved Community Improvement Program (CIP) grants worth a total of just over $3,000 for two local businesses.

WELLINGTON NORTH – The pace of proposed development in both Mount Forest and Arthur has Wellington North council pondering how to keep up with needed infrastructure.

The Mount Forest Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of its 2020 Awards of Excellence on Dec. 18.
