WELLINGTON COUNTY – Volunteer week would normally be a big deal at Louise Marshall Hospital, where the 30 to 50 citizens who give hours of their time to the hospital and its patients, are properly celebrated and appreciated.

ARTHUR – For the second year in a row, the traditional Arthur Fall Fair will be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, organizers will be providing a virtual fair  this year, "with the possibility of a few in-person" events/exhibits.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Council here will take a chance on increasing deductibles in the township’s insurance policy in order to save close to $13,000 annually on its premium.
