MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Thrift Shop is moving to a new location on Main Street.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – While everyone continues to battle the ongoing pandemic, long-term care workers are also battling for the opportunity to let residents see their smiles beneath layers of personal protective equipment (PPE).

WELLINGTON NORTH – Police say human remains have been located "in the bush in a rural area" just south of Mount Forest. Wellington County OPP responded to the location on May 4 shortly after 6:30pm, when someone reported finding the remains.

WELLINGTON COUNTY - Construction of new broadband infrastructure continues to move forward in Wellington County, as Cogeco Connexion breaks ground to bring high-speed internet service to more than 280 additional homes and businesses in the community of Eden Mills.

ARTHUR – Wellington North has received $18,200 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities Fund for upgrades to the Arthur Pool. The project will include two outdoor showers, a reception area, a sneeze guard and an emergency gate.
