ARTHUR – Faye Craig has been named Wellington North’s Senior of the Year, in recognition of her “outstanding contributions to the community after age 65.” Formally recognized by council on June 28, Craig has long been an active member in her community.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Officials announced on June 28 that Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Aboyne and North Wellington Health Care (NWHC), which operates hospitals in Palmerston and Mount Forest, were joining the team, formerly known as the Guelph and Area OHT.

MOUNT FOREST – Adam Wilson, a volunteer firefighter with the Wellington North Fire Service, will be participating in the Lambton College Fire School’s 9/11 Stair Climb to recognize the 20th anniversary of 9/11. He will be climbing 110 flights of stairs in bunker gear.
