WELLINGTON NORTH - At 7:56am on Friday, around 30 volunteer firefighters began responding from Mount Forest and Arthur stations to a structure fire along Highway 6 between Arthur and Petherton.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Council awarded an Arthur skatepark and pump track contract to Innerkip-based Canadian Ramp Company on Feb. 22 at a cost of $170,294. The park is expected to be ready for use in mid-June.

WELLINGTON NORTH – A zoning bylaw amendment sought by Avila Investments for a new Mount Forest subdivision has been granted by Wellington North council. Another zoning bylaw amendment will come before council for a commercial portion.
