WELLINGTON COUNTY – As the number of COVID-19 cases at Caressant Care Arthur continues to climb, company officials say they are taking the necessary steps to try to get two outbreaks under control.

GUELPH – On Jan. 6, the first ever COVID-19 vaccine was administered in the Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) region. The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine was given to Sarah Ricci, a program manager at Shelburne Long-Term Care Home.

GUELPH – Last week, the board suspended access to student Gmail accounts following a breach that resulted in "inappropriate" emails being sent to thousands of students.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Wellington Health Care Alliance officials announced on Jan. 6 the centre, located at the former Groves hospital on Union Street, will be open every day from 10am to 6pm except for statutory holidays.
