Caressant Care outbreaks worsen but active COVID-19 cases in region drop
WELLINGTON COUNTY – The most recent public health statistics indicate lockdown provisions are working, with active COVID-19 cases in the community dropping. But at the same time, Wellington County has had four COVID-related deaths in one week, three linked to outbreaks at Caressant Care Arthur.

GUELPH – Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) officials say all long-term care and retirement home residents in the region should be vaccinated by Jan. 27.
Pfizer production delay prompts changes to WDGPH vaccination plan
WELLINGTON COUNTY – Public health officials say local COVID-19 vaccinations will be impacted by production changes at Pfizer. The change is temporary, officials say, and will ultimately result in an overall increase in the number of doses received by WDGPH. Those affected will be contacted directly.
