ABERFOYLE – Puslinch residents can look forward to the return of a traditional Santa Claus Parade next month. The Optimist Club of Puslinch announced on Oct. 13 that it will "celebrate 27 years of bringing Santa to the kids of Puslinch" with a parade in Aberfoyle on Nov. 27 at 2pm.

PUSLINCH – Council hopefuls painted their vision of Puslinch Township at a meet-the-candidates meeting on Oct. 5 hosted by the Optimist Club of Puslinch.

PUSLINCH – The team from Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre met on Sept. 25 to celebrate the $45,000 Resilient Communities Fund grant they received in August from the Ontario Trillium Foundation. 

PUSLINCH – Puslinch council is contemplating going back to in-person meetings but will have to surmount a few challenges first – mainly the technological kind.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – It’s a message that bears repeating, and sadly never gets old, because it’s a scenario that can devastate a family and a community: “Fire Won’t Wait. Plan Your Escape.” 

PUSLINCH – A pillar in the community of Puslinch has died. Doug Smith was perhaps best known for the 37 years he spent on the Puslinch Fire Department, where he was one of the original members and chief for 10 of those years.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Ten local students will be receiving educational scholarships and bursaries from the County of Wellington based on academic achievement, community involvement or financial need.

PUSLINCH – Councillors here have agreed to change a controversial street name in the township. Swastika Trail, in the community around Puslinch Lake, will be renamed Holly Trail.
