ABERFOYLE – Dozens of people attended Puslinch council’s Feb. 8 meeting to protest plans to build the Estill Innovation Community just off the Hanlon Expressway on Sideroad 20 North.

PUSLINCH – Officials at Irish Creek Stables here are hopeful the worst is over after five horses died on the farm in January due to equine herpesvirus. “It’s a bit of a nightmare,” said Melissa Laird-Arroyo, who boards a horse at the farm. “I don’t want another one to die.”

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Officials don't expect widespread flooding, but the Grand River Conservation Authority is urging area residents to "exercise extreme caution around all local waterways" due to Thursday's rainfall.

PUSLINCH – Puslinch council has passed the 2023 budget, including nearly $5 million in capital projects, a capital levy of $1.3 million and an operating levy of $3.5 million. That means a 4.5% tax increase for residential ratepayers.
