MINTO – Council here has voiced support for a resolution calling on the provincial government to increase pay and benefits for early child care educators and child care staff working for licensed providers in order to combat a labour shortage.

HARRISTON – When more than 50,000 runners hit the streets of New York City for the world’s largest marathon next month, a local woman will be among them.

WELLINGTON NORTH – A hockey tournament at the Palmerston Arena on Nov. 5 will raise money for Ken and Carolyn Brubacher as their 12-year-old son Trevor awaits a kidney transplant.
