PALMERSTON - All Aboard Palmerston is bringing a new twist to its annual September Tiny Trains event. 

HARRISTON – The Larry Mercey Trio and Leo Stock will perform at a fundraising concert in support of the Canadian Foodgrains Bank hosted by the Harriston Foodgrains Growing Project.

MINTO – Town council has approved an agreement to sell a 3.83-acre lot in the Palmerston Industrial Park to a local developer with plans to develop a business condominium complex.

MINTO – The driver of a vehicle involved in a serious single-vehicle crash here last week has died.

HARRISTON – A local driver has been charged after a commercial truck caused extensive damage on a private property here, narrowly missing a house.

PALMERSTON – A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared at Palmerston and District Hospital. Officials say two inpatients and five staff at the hospital have tested positive for the virus.

MINTO - Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision involving a single motor vehicle on Wellington Road 123, near Palmerston on Sept. 7, at approximately 6:15am.

MINTO – In July, Countryside Midwifery Services moved its office from Palmerston to the Lions Medical Building in Harriston, where it was able to set up a private room with a birth suite.
