MAPLETON – “This has been a long time coming,” said public works director Jamie Morgan about the Faulkner drain improvement and realignment, noting there have been conversations about the project for more than 10 years.
Dozens of cows perish in Sunday morning barn fire near Drayton
MAPLETON – Firefighters were called to the blaze, near the intersection of 14th Line and Sideroad 17 in Mapleton Township, just before 9am on Dec. 29. No one was injured but about 40 cows died in the fire.
